When people come to visit Hawaii Island,
they always ask about the fruit they cannot find in their supermarkets at home.
We give thanks that the family who planted generations of trees
on our Farm,
beginning in 1922,
took a special pride in their Polynesian heritage,
planting the fruits and varieties the kapuna knew.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA) has singled us out for the diversity
of our fruit trees,
all planted
(of course)
long before the GMO revolution.
